Marilyn Manson at his best! This is THE groundbreaking metal / industrial album of the 1990's. This CD is my all time favorite. The music is hard yet dynamic. There is really talent here.

Haunting female vocals and groovy beats. Kind of a chick band but I dig it anyway. 3.5 stars.

Old school Depeche Mode. "Black Celebration" is a great song. It is very much an 80's album. This album is great when I'm in the mood for classic new wave jams.

Review Date: 12/28/2007

Type O Negative at their best! "Bloody Kisses" and "Blood and Fire" are my favorite tracks but the whole album is great. 5 stars.

Review Date: 1/7/2008

One of Trent Reznors hardest and darkest releases ever! LOVE IT! "Happiness in Slavery" is the best song on this one.

Review Date: 1/7/2008

Great upbeat party music. There is a different guest vocalist in each song.

Review Date: 4/21/2008

Pretty decent goth album. Nothing special. The best track is "Shock The Monkey" with Ozzy. I liked them better when I was in high school.

Enya is never out of form! This is some great stuff. Very soothing and comforting when you are in those depressed moods. Great vocals.

Review Date: 7/19/2007

Good beat, not terrible original. Overall a good listen.

Review Date: 12/22/2009

Another great release from Maynard and company. The highlight of this one is "Counting Bodies Like Sheep To The Rythem of The War Drums". Worth a listen for sure. I give it four stars.

Good stuff! All of Enigma's best on one disc! Great music for relaxing with a loved one on those quiet, intimate nights at home. Great mood setter!

I like Godsmack, but this album lacked the same energy as the previous albums. I guess it is hard to stay angry with all of that money. Still a decent metal album and worth a listen for sure.

Awesome! All of the Family Guy characters in a musical performance. Original songs. Excellent!

A pretty decent DJ mix from Dara. If you are a fan of 1990's drum'n'bass Dance music, then this is a nice compilation.

Title: Halls of Eternity
Artist: Ancient
Label: Metal Blade
Original Release Date: 11/2/1999
Date: 12/12/2007

Great stuff. These guys and gal are straight black metal. Very melodic and not too over the top with the screams. The female vocals are a great touch. There are two instrumentals and both are nicely done. Not extremely original but overall some great tunes.

All of Green Days' Radio hits on one disc. It's okay, but I prefer some of their other albums overall.

Classic Korn from back before they were famous. Great stuff. Brings me back to my junior high school days!

A NIN remix single. Any hardcore Trent Reznor fan will like this. I would not recommend this one to casual fans. There are remixes of "March of The Pigs" as well as "Reptile".

Title: Mechanical Animals
Artist: Marilyn Manson
Label: Nothing
Original Release Date: 9/15/1998

Pretty good stuff. Marilyn Manson is one of those musicians who progress and evolve as they get older. Not the same as Antichrist Superstar, but change is good and Manson produces some great tunes on this one.

Review Date: 7/27/2007

All I have to say is that this album is BEAUTIFUL!

It is always great hearing Maynard's vocals. This band has a very unique sound. You can not even tell that it is only a side project. Great musicians paired with great vocals. Very unconventional in both sound and lyrical content. Good stuff.

Very unique heavy metal. The music and vocals are excellent. This band's political lyrics can be very tiresome and annoying, but there is no denying that they know how to rock.

Review Date: 8/1/2007

I like Celtic folk music, but this is not exactly what I was hoping for. This is more like Irish Big Band music. I am more into the lively fiddle music. Not bad, but just not my thing.

Title: Now Diabolical
Artist: Satyricon

Title: Obsolete
Artist: Fear Factory
Label: Roadrunner Records
Original Release Date: 3/23/1999
Date: 7/18/2007

Hard and heavy. Fear Factory takes traditional Death Metal and adds melody, clean vocals and electronic sounds. Not the best heavy band around but they are certainly under rated. Good stuff and worth a listen.

Review Date: 7/18/2007

Great classic! Highlights are "My Girlfriend's Girlfriend" and "Cinnamon Girl". Goth rock in rare form. Beautiful vocals and dark themes make this one of the best goth bands out there.

Title: The Other Side

Very unique style. Excellent female vocals. The music is a strange hybrid of classical, jazz and hip hop. Extremely interesting. "Western Eyes" is my fav.

Classic NIN! Full of synth and angst. Depressing and thoughtful at the same time.

Review Date: 1/7/2008

Great stuff! Dimmu Borgir is as hard as it gets, yet still full of melody and complexity. No mindless head banging here.
