"Tribute style album with Los Lobos (quite brilliantly) doing all of Valens' songs. Also the other songs, Diddly (orignal), howard huntsberry's version of Jackie Wilson's Lonely Teardrops is sooooooooo good, and I think I actually like Marshall Crenshaw's version of Crying, Waiting, Hoping by Buddy Holly better than the original, sorry to the purests. Oh and sorry, don't forget Brian Setzer with Summertime Blues, totally awesome. I looked everywhere for these versionsLa individually, in their full form, I know I couldn't find it, so if you do, kudos. So I broke down and bought the entire album and for $6 or $7, who caaaarrres. Ended up liking a lot of the songs I wasn't originally searching for. Good pick up."
