Fite builds upon his signature samples here, but with a more restrained, mature hand. Famous for mining record store bargain bins for long-forgotten CDs, Tim takes tracks from their musical obscurity, dusts them off, and reburies them in his own tunes. But now, with "Fair Ain't Fair", come the voices, layer upon layer. Fite plays with melody in a way he never has before. Harmony rules, and the results are a collection of exquisite songs. Fantastic Fite

"Tim Fite creates a sort of hyper-imaginative Americana-rap blend, and the result is one of those albums that you have to listen to multiple times to start to figure out, yet is enjoyable from the outset. I'd compare him to the group Gnarls Barkley in overall pop creativity. If you want a taste of his style you can probably still get his last album free on his website (also very good)."
