CD Reviews

It's actually pretty good...
Frank Perri | Ozone Park, NY United States | 08/04/2003

"This was actually a weird CD for me. I purchased when it first came out in '93 solely because it was Tia Carrera. I listened to it for about 10 minutes and scrunched my nose, then I put it away on the shelf. 2 years later either I matured or gremlins snuck into my room at night and changed the contents but I had a desire to listen to it again and I've loved it ever since. Weird. Anyway, The opening song, State of Grace is actually really good. It starts with a nice 'world' thing with a sitar and all, and then grooves. The songs are all in a sort of Adult Contemporary category...lots of smooth jazz influences and some hip-hop like qualities. It's great to put on late at night when I'm entertaining someone... It's worth the 4-5 dollars you can get it now used for, if not for anything at least for "State of Grace"."
Yahoooo!!!!! Tia Rhymes!!!!
