"Best pure rock & roll records in years. Simply put, Wendy Case writes great, catchy songs and the band rocks them into the ground. This is a massively great album that would induce the Pope to jump around like a fool playing air guitar. If you like three chords, attitude, hooks and guitar solos, get this - you won't be disappointed. Amazing!"

The Paybacks are the anti-rock opera. Songs about unrequited love and love lost seem fresh and vital when spun by Wendy Case and crew. If sythesizer and layered harmonies are your thing don't buy this album. But if you want rock and roll stipped to its basic elements, this is the record for you. A truly great rock and roll album."
