"I don't remember how I came to purchase this CD, almost 15 years ago. But I still bring it out from time to time and I enjoy it all over again. It's good mood music if you want something light and jazzy, but at the same time with some playfulness and complexity. If anyone reads this and can suggest other artists in this vein, I'd love to hear about it.I looked it up on Amazon to see if Brian Mann had ever released any other works. If he had I would have bought them based solely on how much I enjoyed this one.I'm sorry to see that he has never released anything else."

"Cafe du Soleil quickly became one of my all-time favorite CD's. I believe that a little familiarity would make it one of your favorites too. This absolutely wonderful music is hard to categorize as to genre. It could definitely be termed jazz, and is somewhat reminiscent of the accordians of Paris and the general category of jazz accordian. The tracks of the CD vary widely in style, demonstrating the brilliance and versatility of this great composer and fascile artist. I have been hoping for years that Brian Mann would grace us with a new CD, so far to no avail. Please, Maestro Mann, bless us once again with your talents and gifts."
