This really is the most intimate album you will ever hear. Billy (Will Oldham, for it is he)at times seems pained just getting the words out over a bare acoustic guitar backing. But believe me, this is wonderful stuff. Think Nick Drake meets Hank Williams after attending a childs funeral. You get the picture. Play the album, hide the paracetemol."
