"We just lost Bobby Charles. It was time for him to go but the legacy of the music he made is something that you should explore. Start here - with "Last Train" you get 2 CDs which was a very pleasant surprise. Lots of what is on the bonus disc was covered by several artists including Delbert McClinton speaking of which, Delbert contributes to "Last Train" as does Fats Domino, Sonny Landreth, Willie Nelson, Maria & Geoff Muldaur among others. No Bill Haley since he was up in R&R Heaven when "Last Train" was made. Too bad as "See You Later Alligator" did more for him than Bobby who wrote it. Also, "Walking to New Orleans' did very well for Fats Domino. If you want to check out Bobby Charles, start right here - there is lots more available but this is the CD(s) that will whet your appetite."
