It might also be described as lilting, solemn, nostalgic, relaxing, and inspiring. Perfect for anytime of year, dancing to, or for almost any activity - cooking, driving, exercising, dinner partying, meditation, etc. It is great for any season, but I find that since Ireland is generally pretty cold and rainy, I enjoy listening to it in cooler weather more, as I feel a connection to the land of the music's origins. The music is very beautifully played, I would describe it as stellar recording and a must have for anyone who loves Irish classical and traditional music."
