(4 out of 5 stars)

"It's been a little over 2 years since Styles dropped his last major label solo and I'm gonna go with this being his 6th, and one of his worst, but it's still a decent album and worth a listen. Most of his solo albums are 5 or 4.5 stars, with this one and 1 other I'd give a 4 star rating too. I also have 2 D-Block & 2 LOX albums he was a part of and 4 mixtapes of him or D-Block that he was a part of (most being over 4 stars), so he has an extensive and impressive catalog to his name since he first appeared on albums about 13 years ago. This one has 15 songs, 4 are ok, 2 are near classics and the other 9 are good. Guests are a little heavy, on 10 of the 15, rapping on only 4 and doing hooks on the other 6. Of course you're going to get alot of gritty/street lyrics and a few nicer, deep/personal songs thrown in th emix, as he always does. Production is decent, and further solidifies my stance that Green Lantern is an AVERAGE producer (he does 8 of the 15 songs). Thankfully some great producers pick up the slack: Alchemist, Buckwild, Scram Jones, Statik Selektah, Poobs, Dame Grease, Vinny Idol and Dutchez Beatz all do 1 song. A nice album for fans of real street-rap to pick up, but he has better solo's out in the past.
