Out of my collection of CDs at home, this is my favorite album! Coldplay at their best. This album is timeless. Highlights for me are:

Politik- fantastic album opener to start things off with a bang
God Put a Smile Upon Your Face - badass song
Clocks - poetic, catchy, classic
Amsterdam- possibly the most beautiful song ever written by Coldplay

Overall this album has a little bit of everything. It has the what is now typical "Coldplay" ballad (The Scientist) mixed in with some of their more edgy style songs (Politik and God Put a Smile Upon Your Face), and some poppy songs (Clocks and In My Place).
