Good but somewhat average local stoner metal that mixes influences ranging from groove, industrial and alternative metal! I would recommend it to any fans of the above mentioned genres but as for the more traditional/death/black/speed/thrash metal lovers you might want to skip it unless you're seeking out every rare self-released metal albums out there.

Band : TSPC
Title : Ego
Release Date : 1995
Label : BMG Int./ITI
Style : groove metal

This is the album titled 'Ego' by groove metal band TSPC. Imagine a French Canadian version of Pantera and you get what style these 2 ladies and 3 gentlemen were playing. Two of the 17 songs were even mixed by Vinnie Paul himself. Rarely heard or even known outside of the province of Quebec, I would recommend you to check out their regional commercial success 'Connaitre La Suite' on youtube!

Simply amazing 'dreamy/atmospheric' epic metal band with doom and heavy metal influences and with an excellent vocalist! Favorite song on the album is without doubt 'Finality'. Recommended for all heavy/doom/epic metal lovers!

After 3 great demos as Apparition, the Floridian trio decided to change their bandname to Sorrow and released this excellent debut of quality doom/death metal band somewhat reminiscent of Cianide, early Paradise Lost and even 80s doomster Dream Death! Only 4 tracks but 4 great ones!

French Canadian folk rock from Montreal with some very nice electric guitar harmonies here and there. The harmony at the beginning of 'Amour Libre' is simply amazing and almost Maidenesque but sadly after a few minutes the band continues with their traditional Cowboys Fringants sound (not a rip-off but very similar). I wish the electric guitars were throughout the whole album but fans of folk rock, which I'm not thus the reason of my low score, will still enjoy. PS : My copy isnt the CD Baby one but the privately made by the band itself so rarer ;)

Very good Canadian artist whose songs mix everything from power pop overtones to guitar orientated rock with elements of alternative and hard rock music (lots of powerful guitar). Marie-Mai provides this album with some nice vocals with lyrics sung in French. The only negative might be her overuse of techno intros to a lot of the songs. All in all this is a very good album!

Some of the best tracks from the album.
