Any true fan of the Duke's will not be disappointed with this. I bought the album as a present for my dad years ago and got myself a copy when it came out on CD. Hearing the Duke talk about America with such love and understanding chokes me up every time.

Great Fleetwood Mac from their years between being a blues band and the advent of Stevie and Lindsey.

The fantastic sound of Rita and Kris. I can't play this often coz the songs get stuck in my head and I wake up with them, but the contrast in their voices makes this one of my favorites.

This should be called the Best of Christy Moore. There just isn't a bad song on this CD.

I don't care for Alan Jackson's early stuff but I love THIS CD.

Not all De Dannan CDs are created equally but this is the best one. I generally prefer celtic songs like the Rose and the Briar to instrumentals, but they play the instrumentals like Hibernian Rhapsody with such wonderful emotion that I listen to every track.

This is my favorite Leahy CD. The music takes you on a special journey and having seen this talented family live, I know its a journey well worth taking.

I like the sound of this CD. Even more I like how positive the lyrics are. It's been a long time since I've listened to a CD that has this many positive messages on it.

Can't believe this CD did so well. What weird songs. And "Daddy" has to be the sickest thing I've ever heard.

What I like about this CD is the duet pairings. Of course, I particularly fond of any duet that involves Reba.

There's something about John Anderson's voice that puts me in mind of Charlie Pride. He's been a happy surprise for me.

Australian Steve McDonald's award winning first vocal CD (I don't count Spindrift since it's straight instrumental.) The full classification for this is Scottish folk/New Age and a wonderful blend it is. As with many artists, the early recordings are the best, and this is no exception. A lot of get-inside-your-skin music.

This is the same Steve McDonald of Sons of Somerled fame. This being his first CD.

If I didn't own every CD he's ever put out, I'd be more excited about this, and in fact, since I'm partial to ballads, I prefer Coming On Strong, but if you want the chart toppers, this is the CD for you.

The only CD by Gary Allen I don't care to own. All the good songs from this are on his Best of.

Another baritone to add to my stable! A really good freshman album for this country singer. I especially love No Good in Goodbye, which he sings with Jewel.

I have listened to this CD over and over. Josh's rich baritone make my toes curl. I listen to this at least every other day. His voice is made for love songs.
