This is the "real deal" collection! Gives one the true feeling of that era.

An excellent collection - LOTS of very good songs and decent variety from a singer too. (not just country all the way thru although they could be classified that) Lovely to listen to!

Songs seem more along the lines of 'club jazz' and not at all like those on the Breakfast In Bed album.

This one was a total surprise to me! Varied, interesting and songs I've never heard before, but will listen to now. Hard to believe that this collection has been around so long (since 1979) and its NOT been known all that much.

What I like about this collection of songs is that the bulk are so sweetly listen-able! Her voice is lovely and she delivers the songs very well. Nice mix of some 'salsa' and most pleasant love songs. Glad I got this one!

A cd for love! All songs seem to build around the main melody of the only song with words. If one pictures Johnny Depp while listening - yum!

While I have greatly enjoyed her singing and style, there is just something 'off' on this album? Rather too much harking back to a 1960's 'lounge' sound for my taste. However, it one wants and appreciates a more original 'Sinatra' sound - this could suit well.

Great collection - few fun, couple of old favorites and a new one or two too.

Title: I Remember
Artist: Dianne Reeves
Label: Blue Note Records
Original Release Date: 3/26/1991
Date: 11/23/2009

While she has a fabulous voice, her style is more 'fluted' (near scat?) than we prefer. I was hoping this was more 'mellow jazz' (like Diana Krall).

If you do prefer old standards done in a more upbeat, updated style, this album is for you.

An excellent overall career collection with wide range of this man's offerings. Only made me want to hear MORE by him.

A pleasant mix of different styles within one album. Probably something for everyone and then there is her excellent voice too.

While country music isn't my favorite genre, I did enjoy several of her songs on this cd. Great to mix and add to cds of one's own making.

VERY 1980s!! If she would re-mix withOUT all the background clutter, these could be nice songs to listen to.

Liked what I heard, this is a new artist for me. Hoping she will continue to record as I like her easy going style and unique songs. Not too 'little girl' voice of the likes of Jewel either.

A 'sleeper' - LOTS of good songs. Easy to listen to, hum along with etc. Lovely bit of memory too.

Didn't realize this was a mainly piano instrumental type of collection. Just NOT a piano fan, but must admit this lady is good at her craft.

Too much 'little girl' voice for my appreciation. But if that is what you like - this album is it!

Really appreciate her own style. Not all songs on this cd fit my tastes, but those that do are keepers for sure. Looking forward to getting more of her cds.

After reading rave reviews and how Sarah's voice is fantastic - I was very disappointed by this collection. I've never been a big fan of 'live' recordings and this confirms that. The piano overrides her on several tracks and who needs to hear applause?

Like Ella, when Sarah sings 'mellow' she is marvelous. But also like Ella, scat singing isn't appreciated by me. I can tell Ms. Vaughan enjoyed her performance, but sadly I didn't.

Sadly disappointed with this collection of songs and how Renee Olstead chose to sign standards. I have enjoyed her singing, voice style and previous collection. Unfortunately the arrangements and timing are off on these. If she would like an example of how to better 'target' her singing I offer the a song used in the movie An Education CD - Your Heart Is as Black as Night and A Sunday Kind of Love. Renee's voice would be excellent for those too.

Nice updated 'jazzy' selection of familiar songs.

Songs that one remembers and enjoys, but a little of this goes a long way. One of those singers that I like to mix and add to cds of my own selection and making for my listening pleasure.

'Lounge' acts are so not my cup of tea. But if they are yours, this cd is sure to please. Lots of fun and good singers doing standards in a lovely style that is theirs.
