"Certainly not "casual entertainment music", or even particularly ambient.

It takes a certain frame of mind to listen to this album, but that frame of mind becomes increasingly accessible with a few passes at the CD.



Fantomas get given credit in the booklet, and that's the most comparable sound I can think of - this is strange, dark, drawling soft moments interspersed with energized outbursts of Saxophone squeals and Guitar riffs.



This is electronic beeps, whines, and rhythms that feel like a busy copier room come to climax. And it rocks.



This is 3 am music.

The Jazz is felt."
