The title and the performer is known as Z Water Sines, although the words on the cover read, "Tone Poems in the Key of H2O".

Water Sines is made up of five improvised pieces, all in a single key -- perhaps even on a single chord -- eerily and beautifully performed on an electric 12-string guitar by musician A.S. Genette, and treated by electronic processing. "Hypnotic" is a good single word to describe its sound; it evokes the feel of water in motion, surging, swirling and slightly chaotic in a way that draws the ear the way moving water draws the eye.

From the performer: "The tracks are futuristic sonic vignettes of full–bodied chords and rippling single–plucked notes on twinned strings, sounding at times like a chorus of psychedelic didgeridoos or tamburas. The music is generative and unrepeatable. It has no beat, no melody, and no voices in a never–changing key...always resolving into Om."

Though the music was created for "yoga practice, third–eye activation, and sound healing", it works very well as minimalistic, shadowy, echoing and ultimately tranquil ambient music made from equal parts real-instrument and electronics.
