I've been listening to the Young Gods since the start and have always thought their work was some of the most innovative out there. I didn't dislike their work on Second Nature and whatever album came after that but it just never quite measured up IMHO. This album more than delivers. The guitars are back along with distortion, lo-fi and the sonic secret sauce that ties it all together. The vocals and drumming are also top-shelf. I've been listening to it non-stop for the past two days. It just keeps getting better." |
