With Clockworker, the Young Antiques' goal was to recreate the atmosphere of a late 70?s pop/punk vinyl slab, where songs are short blasts of energy, and the last tracks are just as strong as the opening ones. Instead of watering down the record with filler that?s done just to fill out the CD format, the band limited the tracks to just the strong pop hooks that comfortably fit with each other. The result is a gem which will invigorate the listener for a half-hour, leaving him or her hungry enough to listen to it again and again.
