Marvelous little opera

"i bought this because i love opera, and hearing it,i found it irresistible. it is an intermezzo ,a short type of little opera played in the 17th century between acts of opera seria.But its music is ethereal,light with touches of dramatism.It has only two singing parts and a mute one, like La Serva padrona.My only regret is that is not integrally sung, the libretto show this,because it is an irresistibly beatiful piece of opera that you would like to hearing it longer.The orchestra is splendidly directed by Angelo Questa, and Valdengo and Rizzieri are excellent.The baritone has the most lines,but the aria at the end,one of the most delicate i have heard in opera, is for the soprano. It is a pity that this opera is not performed,but if you can buy this record you won't regret it."
