I would only add that on a scale of 1-5, the albums he mentions merit 10, 9, 8, 7 respectively, UN RESIRO is at very least a five *****. The earlier albums were incredibly beautiful and sublime from the very first listen. UN RESPIRO grows on you. The pianos create a highly complex yet extremely beautiful foundation for Wim to rapturously convey unconditioned emotion by voicing his own language. Wims fans will enjoy this album as well as anyone with an open mind and heart and ears to hear. Boris, it is great to know there are other Mertens ENTHUSIAST out there. " |
