"Willy Mason- you may not know who he is now but you WILL. Only 19 he's already toured with veterans suchs as My Morning Jacket, Ben Kweller and Conor Oberst from Bright Eyes.

Live It Up- this song introduces you to what Willy is about. It is a slow but strong acoustic song that focuses solely on Willy's lyrics. "I watched my whole world crumbling as I dried my mother's tears. I learned to never stumble as I calmed my father's fears. They say I've seen a lot, they say I'm wise beyond my years." His voice is quite mellow yet powerful. It ends with the passionate "Live it up, because now it is in our hands to make a change." It is folky, his whole CD is folky and very Bob Dylanish but totally on his own.

Hard Hand to Hold- The first few guitar strums leads you to believe that this is one of Willy's more upbeat songs although the lyrics are also very compelling. The chorus will easily get stuck in your head! This is one of my favorite songs just because the chorus is so great! Somewhat of a misguided love-song in my opinion. It tells a story that makes me believe that I'm actually living the song when I close my eyes and very few songs can do that! Just when you think you can get lost in your thoughts, Willy brings it back with the catchy chorus.

Waiter At the Station- Written by his parents- he definately does it justice. Jemima James and Michael Mason were great songwriters in the 70's. During the BK UK tour, Ben and Willy would often do a duet of this song. It is incredible. I don't know how to explain it so you should definately go buy it!

Not Lie Down- This song is one of Willy's angrier songs although it

Oxygen- Willy's future claim to fame I'm sure of it! A song he wrote for his music theory class that eventually was placed in a Peace Project for his school. "On and on the world it goes, the world just keeps on spinning." This is my favorite Willy Mason song because it combines great, compelling lyrics, as well as a catchy melody and chorus. The consistent rhythm will definately stay stuck in your head."
