I bought this record many years ago - and I still enjoy listening to a very good musician who has a personal expession.
Mr. Webster goes very well together with "The Vice pres".
Its mainly a selection of pretty ballads, soft and tender Jazz of very high standard."

"To my knowledge, this is the only time Webster Young recorded an album as leader. With a nice soft-spoken tonality, Young is a skilled enough trumpet and cornet player. This album could have been something so much more--a feeling one gets when listening to these tracks. For some, Mal Waldron drew their attention to this album. Waldron is definitely the standout musician on these sets, with excellent chord choices and interesting phrasing. All in all worth the money, though there are far more essential Waldron albums to own. (Recommended)
