Within the WR pantheon it is surely one of the top 3 although note that it is more groove-oriented and (in places) ambient than their other releases. The six tunes cover an amazing breadth of moods and every song is truly great... no need to single out one. There is heavy percussion to complement the beautiful, heavy bass lines which are at times by lustrous acoustic bass and at others by electric. The sax soloing is sparse and atmospheric --even for Wayne-- but always magnificent. Together with MYSTERIOUS TRAVELER (also somewhat groove-oriented and ambient), TAIL SPINNIN' and BLACK MARKET you have four of the finest fusion / world / ambient releases you will ever, ever find. You can't go wrong with any of those -- each and every track."
