"When I bought this CD I was'nt sure what to expect.But no matter what David Wayne was involved in through the years, from Metal Church to Reverend it was always great stuff! So, with that in mind, I played this CD and it start's right out with a killer riff and groove on the song "The Choice".Right away You can tell David Wayne's voice is in top form."The Choice" reminds Me a little of some old Exodus like something off of "Pleasures of the flesh".Every song is a little different-all of them are smoking in Your face Heavy Metal except for the song "Ballad For Marianne" which is very similar in sound to "Watch The Children Pray" from Metal Church's classic release "The Dark".Ex-Metal Church guitarist Craig Wells joins David in His band also and does a great job as usual. This CD is old school metal with modern production. If You loved the first two Metal Church release's,this CD is something You won't want to miss!"

"David Wayne, former Metal Curch & Reverend front man, shows on this new release that he's lost none of the range on his pipes. He screaches his heart out on songs like Burning at the Stake and Nightmare Pt.2. This album has everything from catchy hooks to jamming power to even a soul wrenching ballad and sounds more like updated Metal Church than new Metal Church did. Other song titles include Vlad, Hannibal, The Choice, and The Hammer Will Fall. Most highly recommended."

"This album is very much like the first Metal Church album(1985) and Masterpiece(1999). I'm very satisfied with the music. Actually I've always enjoyed Wayne's voice and still he's very good. The only missing thing is Vanderhoof here, however Wells also did a good job. I highly recommend this cd to power metal and trash metal fans and especially Metal Chuch fans. Buy and enjoy it."

"Great Album with Jimi Bell on the Ax it kicks ass. Just like the old school Metal Church this album will have you banging your head from the 1st to the last cut. The Reverand did a great job with the line up in this band, and again I say JIMI BELL is one ass kickin guitair player. I would like to hear more from this line up if not more from MR. Bell himself. 5 Stars!!!"

"Yes, Metal Church lives, truly lives on. With Waynes references to the Bible (Steven and James) he truly brings the church in to his message. Die Satan Die is not only extremely well written and performed but is just one of the song on this effort that takes Wayne to the realm of super writer and band leader. When Metal Church and Wayne split, it was just never even close to the unbelieveble music of those first two albums. Although I truly enjoy Masterpiece, this CD has truly taken up where The Dark left off. Absolutely true quality metal with talent just dripping off the lyrics. Waynes reference as to radio being dead today in Nightmare Part II is absolutely true. Obviously, Wayne on this CD certainly are not. We always complain about new music or band members that don't perpetuate what we all loved about there earlier great stuff that MADE them great. THAT CAN'T BE SAID ABOUT THIS CD. It is Metal Church incarnate. Not one lazy tune. Not one filler. Obviously, enormous effort was spent creating this crowning moment of talent. Music with guts as well as the finesse of an experienced man of rock music. Even the one cover tune is well done and pays a quality tribute to the original. Wayne hit a home run with this one. It feels so good to be able to give 5 stars to a metal band these days. Go Wayne Go."
