"I like my smooth jazz just the way Wayne Jones serves it up - with just the right mix of sax, rhythm, guitar, and keyboard blending together seamlessly to provide exquisite relaxation and enjoyment. With evocative titles like The Coast and Any Port in A Storm, the tracks bring to mind taking in nightlife in New York, or sitting on a beach at night looking at the ocean and a lighthouse. While some "relaxing" music CD's have the effect of taking a sleeping pill or novocaine, Lifescapes Smooth Jazz is both relaxing and revitalizing. If you don't believe me, read my poems - or at least see my college degree.



This CD was a wedding gift, one of my favorite CD's of all time. It helped me get through college. When I was stressed and writing a paper, this CD relaxed me so much that it truly helped with the composition. I also used it when I wrote poetry, and I have won some cash awards for the poems.



The design of the CD box is also very nice. Thank you, Lifescapes (sold in Hallmark stores) for giving Wayne Jones opportunity to work his magic.

"In my other review of Wayne Jones' Open Road, I said how awesome his music is. This is the second best one he has done. In order to enjoy all his music, visit their web site and look him up. He has many releases and would be a HUGE superstar in Smooth Jazz if he got some airplay.



Wayne is a piano player as is evident with most of the tracks, the piano is the main focus.



If you want PERFECT reading music or need to relax, check out this cd!
