Following the Us Top Ten Hit "Magnet and Steel" Walter Moved Away from the Shadow of Fleetwood Mac and Used his Road Band in the Studio to Produce Two Fine Albums of West Coast Rock. Two Previously Un-issued Titles have Been Added Including an Acappella Version of his Biggest Hit "Magnet and Steel".

"A rerelease of Egan's third and fourth solo albums, 1979's Hi Fi and 1980's The Last Stroll, this collection was distributed by the UK label Acadia/Evangeline Records in 2005.

This disc features both albums in their entirety (plus two bonus tracks), with all new and inciteful liner notes written by Walter Egan. I'm not going to give too many details, however, because I want to give fans that much more reason to buy the cd. :)

Anybody who appreciates Egan's California rock style, or is a fan of the Rumours-era lineup of Fleetwood Mac, should definitely pick this one up. Favorite tracks are "Little Miss, It's You," "Love At Last," "You're the One," "Bad Attitude," "Heart," and "Motel Broken Hearts."
