Not for the sound, but for the PERFORMANCE!!!

"Being an ardent Sibelius fan, I can assure you that there is NO BETTER PERFORMANCE of Sibelius' Violin Concerto than Tossy Spivakovsky's. The recording is quite muddled--but the heartfelt, emotional, and supremely RAW performance is what this piece needs. Too many approach this piece with manners. There's a difference between REVERENCE and manners--and Tossy Spivakovsky obviously reveres this piece immensly. Give it a try..."
