"This album blew me away. I was at a local CD shop just looking around and this immediately caught my eye with the horrifieing black and white cover of someones face covered in paint and blood. I was not familiar with the bands- Musta Surma and Horna- but I thought Id give it a try since it was selling for only 4 Bucks! Curious as to what this sounds like I put it in on in the car and just was blown away by the awesome sound of this split masterpiece. At first I thought It was just really good though, as I had only heard Horna. Their horrible production and wicked vocals had me hooked, but I wanted to hear Musta Surma. .....HOLY CRAP is Musta Surma good! Theyve become a favorite of mine already with their Gorgorth-like sound and pure hatred of everything being portrayed in the music. Any fan of black metal, more the harsh and satanic black metal over melodic and progressive, will be amazed by this album. A must have for pretty much all black metalheads. If youre into high-fi production though, this aint what youre looking for. and besides you have to learn to get over music not being crystal clear sounding, I prefer music with Bad production its way better.

Overall I easily rate this 5 stars for being an awesome slit with two very awesome black metal bands. Its fast, its harsh, its black metal in pure. Go ahead give it a listen and see wat you think. The song "Kuolonmyrsky" is the first track by Musta Surma just so you know."
