"If not any thing else - this dramatic soprano is worth it.

In many illustrious versions of Leonora, including Antonietta Stella's famous version with Carlo Bergonzi - the all-Italian version, it is hard to find the like of Mrs. Bogza.

Hers is the drama, the gut-feelings, the beautiful tone...the tragic Verdian heroine.

Otherwise, I would say that my other Serafin 'Il Trovatore' won the day.

But for Bogza's Leonora."
