Time-Life 3 CD Collection featuring artists Bob Dylan,Peter, Paul & Mary, Pete Seeger, Tom Paxton, Joan Baez, Judy Collins, Burl Ives, Harry Belafonte, Arlo Guthrie, the Easy Riders, the Kingston Trio, the Journeymen, Gordon Lightfoot, the Irish Rovers, the Smothers Brothers, the Seekers, the Simon Sisters, the Serendipity Singers, the New Christy Minstrels, the We Five, Chad & Jeremy, Tim Hardin, Janis Ian, and Bob Lind are all here, and all fair enough, although some of these, most notably the Seekers, Chad & Jeremy, and Judy Collins, are represented by some of their most pop-oriented songs -- but somehow we also get the Beach Boys (?!!!! -- nothing against them, but . . . ), Roger Miller, the Byrds, Bobby Gentry, the Singing Nun, Sonny & Cher, Harry Nilsson, the Turtles, Kenny Rogers & the First Edition, the Stone Ponys w/Linda Ronstadt, Spanky & Our Gang, etc. etc. who fill out most of the content.
