CD Reviews"Celtic Shores 2" J. Sorensen | United Kingdom | 02/24/2008 (4 out of 5 stars) "Captivating. As a Celt myself, I connected with many of the tracks. In particular, "Daughter Song", a standout track by Eric Scot Porter, who now deservedly assumes the mantle and stature of Andreas Vollenweider, and "Celtic Gathering" by the young Russian composer Alex Tiuniaev. This is an especially worthwhile album given its purpose of helping to fund a musical education for deprived kids. What more can you ask? Hats off to all who took part. All the tracks convey a segment of lighter Celtic reflection, and, if I had one observation to make, it might be that "Celtic Shores 3" might integrate some of the deeper echo and the more haunting subtext of the Celtic spirit and its survival and ongoing contribution to the 21st Century. Well done again and thank you for this compilation. From a Highlander!"
