"Like the previous 2 CDs, Worship Jamz 3 takes familiar/popular Christian songs and 'reworks' them using young people as the singers. Version 3 differs by using 'classic' or 'traditional' Christian hymns. I give this CD 4 stars based mainly on my 2 kids and how much they enjoy it. As an adult, it honestly doesn't appeal to me as much as the previous 2 -however, saying that, I must also say that after being forced to listen to it over and over and over in the car, it DOES grow on you. I felt the same way about #1 & #2 - didn't care much for them on the first listen, but grew to really enjoy them after that. I grew up with the songs on this CD, and perhaps that adds to my dislike of the reworking of them - some things just aren't meant to be redone. The songs are performed by the same 'voices' we've heard on the previous two CDs.



I'd recommend Worship Jamz 1 & 2 before I'd recommend this one. If you're purchasing this product for kids -it's a certain winner - but if prefer the traditional versions of hymns and classic Christian songs, then this probably isn't the best choice. However, it's still not a bad CD ---just not as good as the previous, in my opinion."
