Ultra Dance has its pros and cons.

"I usually buy Ministry of Sound/European CDs, but since I am familiar with Johnny Vicious from what I think is his best mix ever, on Club Nation America, I decided to buy this CD and save on the Import prices.
First off I must say that if you're into trance or club music the remixes of once-pop songs are crap in my opinion. They are only there because of the lyrics, and as a result they sound very odd and have to be some of the worst techno I've heard in a long time.
However, the second half of CD 1 gets much better, and by the time Underwater came into the mix I had forgotten all about the original disappointment, it didn't matter anymore.
The second CD is much more underground heavy techno, but for an American techno CD, this has to be one of my favorites."

"Ultra Dance is an amazing mix! Legendary NY producer / DJ Johnny Vicious really delivers you all the hot dance anthems that you hear in the clubs and on the radio. The tracklisting speaks for itself- Nelly Furtado, Jessica Simpson, Amber, Iio, Green Velvet, Crystal Method, etc... This is hands down one of the best dance compilations of the year!"

"This CD is so awesome! Songs like Amber's "Yes", Aubrey's "Stand Still", Iio's "Rapture", To be Able To Love, Resurrection, Forever, and Light A Rainbow: ROCK MY WORLD! This is one of the best techno CD's of the century. The songs I don't really like are Trippin, and La La Land. They are a discrace to music maker's everywhere! Anyway, all together, this is an awesome CD. If you like it, you have to check out DJ Encore and Engelina's award winning album "Intuition." Now that is quality listening!"
