"You've heard of those Global Communication Networks?'Turn Century...' is a very well assembled global space rock compilation.Five American bands present including Alien Planetscapes with "Prince Chubbs",F/i contributing "Space Station",Escapade with their well written "Under An Intrusive Glare",Iron Bong playing a fabulous acid trip-like number "Grey" and Beyondomatic providing "Family Chi".This CD is most worthy of repeated plays.The tune by Holy River Family Band(a Spacious Mind spin-off)"The Force Comes From The Strength Of A Horse" may be the best that 'Turn...' has to offer.Actually,all thirteen bands on here levitate one's mind,to a degree anyway.Zen,a band from Turkey with "Lady In Red" hits me with a good dose of Middle Eastern psychedelia while Finland's Ektroverde(a Circle spin-off)"Kalkutta" makes me feel like I'm in a rubber room trying unsuccessfully to find my way out.Then there's the UK's Volcano The Bear giving us "Cornutopia" which is a good industrial space rock tune.One of the BETTER various artists discs out there."
