"It is my observation that in recent years, more and more enterprising independent labels have emerged in the music industry in the Asia Pacific region. What is more admirable is that many of the works are really very good indeed. Some are the best I have ever come across.
"In October last, I had a good conversation with a visiting friend in the music business from Hong Kong. Among other things, he shared my view that it would be a good idea to create greater visibility and availability for these wonderful works in regions beyond the Asia Pacific arena, in particular, to audiophile communities on other continents, bearing in mind that audiophiles are in a constant quest for a new repertoire that is good both in music and sound.
