Hipster irony

"There's a lot of attitude in this compilation. To call a collection and "All-Star Salute to Christmas" is in itself an ironic statement, and nobody's trying to hide that here. I bet it still gives the producers a chuckle to this day.

Still, I can't discourage anyone from buying this collection. Many of the recordings have appeared elsewhere before, but are no longer in print. There's a lot of freshness and originality in putting this group of old and new renditions together, so if you collect Christmas CDs you may like this lineup. I do. Give it a spin!"
