CD Reviews

Sub Par sound systems step aside

"I originally heard this CD while browsing for some new digital equipment. This is what the salesman played and I forgot about the equipment! I listened to the beginning of the first 4 songs and I was floored. I immediately asked the artist and album title. I have played it so many times that I have a cd for the house, one for the car and one for work. You do not know what sound is until you hear this cd"

"Without a doubt the highest quality recording I have ever heard. The liner info states that when Telarc, a label known for classical recordings, decided to branch out to other genres. They wanted a cd that would demonstrate the audio potential. They suceeded with Spies. Track 3 will rattle the windows. I especially like the credit for the F16 pilot. This recording is a must for any true audiophile."
A virtually harsh free digital recording .

"A reference quality disc that will put any system to the test.Smooth and powerful sound on all tracks. The music's orginality is all its own. This is modern jazz at its best. If I were buying a stereo system of any quality, this is one cd that goes along for the ride. Track #3, "Interlude" bass rendition will separate the men from the boys on a speaker and/or subwoofer system. It is the #1 cd in my collection."
