Synopsis

Album Description
Welcome to the Grand Canyon. Come along on a 3-dimensional jpurney throughone of nature's greatest achievements. A gentle wind brushes against the pines along the rim...distant thunder rumbles across the canyon from a summer storm...the morning sun brings a chorus of birds to life at Hopi Point...the cool embrace of the Colorado River as it winds its way through the canyon...a coyote cries out to a full moon as the blanket of stars covers the land. We've spent hundreds of hours exploring and recording throughout the Grand Canyon in order to capture the natural soundscape that is unique to this amazing wilderness. By weaving these, and many other natural sounds together with music inspired by our journey, we have created a "Symphony with Nature."

"That's the by-line of this album, and it is fitting. If you enjoy soothing, quiet instrumentals, combined with the relaxing sounds of nature, you're going to enjoy The Sounds Of The Grand Canyon Volume 2.

I first heard selections from this album on [...] radio, and found that the soft, but spirited, sound was inspirational.. in a rejuvenating way.

Recorded in Grand Canyon National Park, the mix of song and natural sound works better here than on most attempts of this type. It's as though the natural sounds of the earth were the inspiration for the music.

Try this one, and if you enjoy it, there are many more in this same series."
