"When I received my order from Amazon.com, I thought they had sent me the wrong CD by mistake. As it turns out, this CD has been re-released with the same catalogue number and the same songs, but with a new title: "WHOLE LOTTA...ROCK: 1974 - 1975."Sixteen of the eighteen songs on this disc made the top ten, and seven of them reached number one. If you grew up in the '70s, you probably know most of these songs by heart. Listening to these songs again makes me wonder why some of these artists were "one-hit wonders." Then, there's the mystery of the Three Degrees, who scored the biggest hit of their career with the great "When Will I See You Again," then vanished from the pop and R&B charts without a trace.I was pleasantly surprised to find that this CD contains the TRUE 45 version of "Get Down Tonight". Most CDs I've heard just take the LP version, which has a different mix, and edit it the way the 45 was edited."
