Album full of up-tempo dance songs without the aggressive Fat Boy Slim/Prodigy style of music that often shows up on albums like this. If you like a few of the songs on this album you'll probably like them all.

"Respect is Burning Paris is Sleeping Vol.2 is what is right as in "Righteous" about dance music today. Like Volume 1 part DEUX pays homage to Paris' Wednesday night's "Respect is Burning" at Queen. The new French scene truer to the roots of House music i.e. SalSoul Records the sounds of Detroit, Chicago and Paradise Garage respectively. Always inventive and fun but never repetitive or boring the CD will have you booking your flight on the Concord before you know it! Lovely and lush Dimitri and Bibi mix up Stardust's "Music Sounds Better With You" in a D-Train throw back. Pop lock your funky butt through to DeeJay Punc-Roc's Vocoder induced "My Beatbox" and ride it on over to Chezere's "Where Does Your Mind Go" which is so deep it'll hurt so good! Norma Jean Bell's big stuff Jean Knightesque over the top salute "Baddest Bitch" will sure to crack a perma-grin across your house dazed face.Don't forget the brilliant move of including the break dance classic " I.O.U" by Freeze...good music is good music right and it sounds so FRESH! Do a super click and buy this one....very deep, very cool and very very fun! A+"

"I have this cd and it is so good. Some of the tracks aren't as good as others, but overall it is one of those cds where you can just pop it in and play it through. The first volume is also great, it has some of the club's more original jams. I highly reccomend both!"

"This is the best stuff to come from France since Daft Punk and it is kickin'! Noone seems to create funky, atmospheric and eminently danceable house/garage for parties and clubs quite like the French, and it is above all great fun. I'm not even a huge house fan but this is a great LP. Like a previous reviewer said, if you like this check out Etienne de Crecy's Super Dicount CD, in addition to Cassius, Basement Jaxx et al."

"It doesn't come much better than this. I'm not even a fan of house music, but this is amazing stuff. Can be compared to Daft Punk, except it's got a little more soul.By the way, if you're into this (or the group Air), try to track down a CD called 'Super Discount' by DJ Etienne de Crecy - it was put out a couple years ago, and it's aged beautifully. One of the tracks is an early version of 'All I Need' by Air."
An Interesting Compilation

"Track number two, a great Stardust song, is re-mixed by Dimitri which turns out to be an energy explosion - quite masterful. Great 'bots from Du Cont and some serious tunes from Romanthology; Her sweet voice took me away..."
