It includes international lullabies as well as more familiar tunes (in new arrangements), resulting in a rich and deep collection of different musical styles that is both soothing and enjoyable. This is not "toy" music that will eventually insult adult ears after repeated playings -- I don't have kids, but have been listening to it simply because it's good stuff. Don't buy trite, condescending music for your baby -- complex music (like classical music) is better for them anyway. This is an intelligent, sophisticated collection of lullabies that I can't recommend highly enough!" By far, our favorite lullaby tape! Marjorie A. It is a great collection of international lullabies that instantly became our favorite. The songs are beautiful and very soothing. The variety of languages and styles really works and all of the artists are great. It doesn't make a bit of difference if you understand the language that the performer uses or not--the love that you feel while rocking your child to sleep comes through in every song. We listened to this almost every night for months at bedtime. Now that my daughter is a toddler, it is great music for "quiet time" or nap time during the day. My gift now to the new babies we know is a kids cassette player and this tape--I love it that much!"
