CD Reviews

ABBA's music as good as it gets, in super modern versions
ROBERTO MÁRCIO DOS SANTOS | BELO HORIZONTE, BRASIL | 07/10/2000
(5 out of 5 stars)

"As a fan of the Swedish group ABBA, I tend to like anything that has to do with them, but I do make a point at recommending this tribute cd. Even if you don't like the original recordings by ABBA, you'll get surprised at how great these versions sound. The artists who made these new versions created very interesting songs, such as "VOULEZ-VOUS", "KNOWING ME, KNOWING YOU", and "CHIQUITITA", which are all extremely modern and disco-like, surprisingly different from the original ones but at the same time with the eternal magic of ABBA."
My god, it's actually enjoyable!
Lorna | Rochester, NY | 10/10/2004
(4 out of 5 stars)

"I've found most Abba tributes to be hardly bearable, but on this album you can find some fun dance remixes that involve MORE than putting a drop bass over a poor attempt at duplicating the original. And I love me some dance mixes. So hearing more inventive beats and interpretations of the songs is fun."
