"The choice of music on this collection is excellent. While there are a few gems, many of the added rhythms seem a bit random and arbitrary, having little to do with the spirit of the original. Two excellent tracks are "Ain't No Sunshine" by Al Jarreau and the stripper beats of Marilyn Monroe's "Diamonds Are a Girl's Best Friend." In general, however, the rhythms tend to be too simplistic, like presets on a Casio keyboard. I'm a fan of chill'n' jazz, and for those of similar taste, I suggest any of the four volumes of "Jazz Lounge." Other great sets are "Nu Jazz Sessions" (Groove Gravy) and "(re:mix)" by re:jazz (Kriztal Records). Another great set is "Jazzelicious Presents" (also Kriztal Records). In fact much of the Kriztal Records catalog of is worthy listening. Check them out before buying this set."
