CD Reviews

A good trance set from an excellent DJ
11/07/2000
(4 out of 5 stars)

"Talla2XLC is a very talented DJ. It shows with the skill used to compile this collection. If you are a fan of this set(Generation Trance 2000 episode 1,2,3), then you will really enjoy this collection. It is better than episode 1, but not as good as episode 2. ICUpromo.net is a place where you can find more information on this cd, and u can also listen to the WHOLE thing in real audio before u choose to buy it. Every ICU album is available to listen to on that website, and it is not illegal. You can compare them yourself if you do not feel if you are sure of buying this album, but I assure you that you will not be disappointed with this excellent trance compilation."

"If you have heard any of the other 2 ICU Generation Trance cd's and liked them, then you have got to get this cd. The Generation Trance cds are some of the best compilations out there (in my opinion). And The 3rd installment in this series keeps the pace perfectly. This cd will take you to a whole other world. It all starts with the song "are you ready" by by DJ chris, which gets you prepared for a journey of such fantastic colors and sounds, and then runs into one of my favorite songs on the cd "revelation" by chapter&Page, though it does have seemingly dark undertones, its all in preperation of the rest of the album and i personally love it! Then its time to take "the voyage" by sean dexter vs. de la ray. This song will take you to the new segment of the cd which is the journey to the new place (world). 3 GREAT song later we have "The arrival" by traveller. This takes us to the happier and more uplifting part of the cd which is very energetic and enjoyable. It seems to me like the cd starts on earth, and then you journey to a new world of peace and unity (hence the words of "reminisce over you") And it all comes to a fantastic conclusion with Electras "Hear me Feel me" Which is a wonderful closing number. Friends, enemies, people i don't know. YOU MUST GET THIS CD. It is essential to me, so i figure it must be good. I rated this cd 5 stars and an (A+). Yes, its my first time giving away a plus ;) This cd gets it because it makes you feel as though you are travelling. !!!!OH!!! and dont skip songs, you will lose alot of the feeling!!!! If you hear this you will want the rest of the GT2000 cds', they are all good might i add."

"If you're a fan of the other two generation Trance 2000 episodes this one won't let you down. Not as good as the second episode, but right up there with the first, much darker then both though. I played this CD for my girlfriend and it made her stomach hurt it was so evil sounding. I love it thought all the dark sounds, especially the voice in the "Revelation". That's enough to send chills down any ones spine. Not to worry though if you not into the darkness, after it reaches "The Voyage", it turns the darkness into beauty, and the warm happy feelings come alive the rest of the CD. Lots of good hard tracks, very original. This disk doesn't get boring or annoying. It keeps changing enough to keep me interested. I didn't like it too much when I first got it, maybe because of the intimate doom that lingers over the first three tracks, but the more I listened to it the more I grew to love it. Excellent Trance Anthems, so if you're an anthem fan, especially if you like darkness spun into your sets, this would be worth checking out."
