Synopsis

Album Description
Fusion master Galactic Caravan strikes again with an inspiring fusion of East and West for mystical travels to ancient lands and dances to free the soul. For good reason a favorite of bellydancers from traditional to tribal, Galactic Caravan presents new compositions as well as incorporates Egyptian Shabbi superstar Saad and his musicians into a new blend for modern bellydance and the world music listener alike. A grooving must for the intergalactic traveler!

CD Reviews

BUY IT!!!! Groovy Techno Bellydance for the Energetic :)

"Oh my Isis!... I bought this on a whim based on the one previous review, and I am SOOOOOO happy I did. This is good stuff... High energy, great basic rhythms layered with a 'modern' sound. If you're a bellydancer and ever gone to a club wishing they would play something truly unique, something that's a complete artistic fusion of old age and new age sounds...well, this is IT! I can't wait to choreograph a number to 'Faraway Places.' This is music that brings the dance out of you, whether you want it to or not... even my husband started shaking his hips!!! Get it, I promise you won't regret it!"

"Out of all the tracks on this CD, there's only one I don't like. That's truly rare for a CD, where generally only three or four are good. The best track is probably Raqs Nay. It's hysterical, and I can't wait to choreograph a routine using it. This is definitely a must have."
