(5 out of 5 stars)

"This is one of the most darkly sparkling gems of industrial music. In a genre where compilations are the norm, this is a total stand out. Granted, certain tracks, like Alien Faktor's "Ants, Sheep, Drunks, and Whores," the song "Incessant" and the contribution from 16 Volt are tepid, but nothing can be perfect. On the other hand, the tracks from Rammstein, "Du Reicht Zo Gut" (far better than that limp-wristed radio hit "Du Hast"), Burlington, VT (!) band Chainsaws and Children, "Flame On," "Anger Impulse," by Hate Dept., and "Dead Seasons" by Purge are worth every dollar and then a few. These tracks show imaginative blending of fierce vocals, raging guitars, and alternately spooky and driving electronics. "Flame On" stands out as one of the most raging and driven pieces of music ever. "Dead Seasons" is the exception to the rule of the rest of the CD, playing it low and brooding, with an-almost Country-Western (!) sense of brooding enhanced by thick, swirling electronics. This is a MUST BUY for any fan of metal, industrial, or techno.P.S.: Stay tuned for track 23... it's a twisted little ditty... ;)"
