Synopsis

Product Description
Cock Dynamiks is a compilation of sensual Canadian hip hop from many of the best in Canadian hip hop. Originally conceived by ?Casa-Nova Scotians? Buck 65 and Moves back in 1997, Hand?Solo Records released their cross-Canada compilation early in the next year as a cassette-only release limited to 200 copies. It spawned a mini-tour, and exclusive tracks by the likes of Buck 65, Moka Only, Tachichi, Knowself, Ishkan, Moves and their alter egos, have made the cassette a highly sought-after release for fans of these artists. With 2005 as the Year of the Cock in the Chinese calendar, it seems only appropriate to make this classic rarity available again. Hand?Solo Records has remastered the compilation?s original 14 tracks, added new artwork, and finally gives Cock Dynamiks the CD release it always deserved. There?s the sexually lyrical wordplay of Buck 65-alter ego Uncle Climax (?The Big Chief?),  the intellectualizing of Recyclone (?C19H28O2?), the raw freestyles of Vice Magazine?s Fritz the Cat (?Dirty Hanes Freestyle?), the humour of Stinkin? Rich (?The Bum Rap?), and the straight braggadocio of Moka Only (?The Ark?).   Catchy packaging designed to resemble a condom package, complete with condom (aka CD) found inside. Features exclusive tracks by Warner Music Canada?s Buck 65, winner of the Juno award for Best Alternative Album for 2004, and who has just released his first album domestically in the United States with V2.  Features two tracks (one exclusive) from Moka Only, an occasional member of Juno-award winning group Swollen Members.  Approximately half of the production is by Moves, a founding member of Halifax hick-hop heroes Hip Club Groove and a current member of Len, infamous for their hit song ?Steal My Sunshine,? and who have also just released a new album.
