Good Solid Trance/Pop House/Hard House Selections

"This review of this CD will all depend on what flavor of trance & house you like.



There are some great pop-house trance tracks from the artists you recognize from the genre (Tina Arena/DJ Tiësto/Angel City/Delirium plus others) are all outstanding and brilliant dance tracks that stand on their own as tracks you can simply listen to anytime. However, they are not the bulk of this CD.



Of the remaining tracks, there are about 8 hard house tracks - if you like anything from that subgenre, then you will definitely get your money's worth from this CD - personally, and again - just my opinion here - to me most hard house sounds like weak R&B from no name artists layed over a trance bed. It's okay in a club as an interlude but nothing something I go out of way to listen to ... for instance, for most of Hed Kandi's compilations CD, - my take is me'h ... but if you like Hed Kandi AND you like pop house trance - then this CD is a pretty good deal for you but if you're just warm about hard house/Hed Kandi, then you're really only getting about 8 outstanding tracks and 15 others that are solid professional trance but nothing terribly exciting.



The remaining flat out trance tracks are as noted - solid.



So, to recap. The pop house trance tracks here are great enough to warrant a 3-star. If you like/love Hed Kandi's compilations and his take on 'hard house,' this CD is a great value as you will like nearly every track and for you, this is a 4-star CD."
