Synopsis

Product Description
The Johnny Cash covers album. Pizza for breakfast. The Ludacris vehicle 2 Fast 2 Furious. Some things are just better the second time around. That s why Modern Radio is revamping, remastering and re-releasing Vampire Hands Me & You Cherry Red just in time for SPRING BREAK!!! The Minneapolis four-piece has been lighting up venues across the Twin Cities and pretty much touring the rest of the country non-stop, sharing the stage with bands like Dungen, Tapes n' Tapes and Monotonix. And as anyone who has attended one of those performances can attest, Me & You Cherry Red is one of the most exciting, atmospheric, and forward-thinking releases of the past couple of years so it wasn t long before the self-released CD sold out. Fortunately, that s no longer the case. The new and improved Modern Radio reissue isn t just better sounding and straight up more available, it also contains the previously out-of-print EP Cuz It s a Beach Funeral and fancy new artwork by Danimal of Gay Beast. Vampire Hands are ramblin men at heart, so stay tuned for news about a spring tour with Wavves (Fat Possum). Also in the works is a limited release on Secretly Canadian imprint St. Ives. For fans of Nuggets-style fuzzed-out psych, No Wave menace and post-punk energy, this is one reissue you don t wanna sleep on.
