Beyond Excellent!

(5 out of 5 stars)

"Two-Mix really shines in their 2001 album. They use many different types of computer synthesized techno instruments in their songs. There are 10 tracks. "Discharge" (track 1) sounds really upbeat and catchy, and I love its climax. "La Vie en Rose" (tr2) is one of the best songs on the album. It has beautiful vocals. Its melody is thrilling and it is a party from beginning to end. You can tell the first two tracks are about time travel because there are voiceovers in both of them that say, "Destination: the 1960's.""Gravity Zero" (tr3) is what the album is named after, and it is pretty good. In "Ne!! ~Run Love Run~" (tr4) the instrumental focus is in its percussion, which is catchy, not repetitive. Tracks 6 and 7 are not as good as tracks 1, 2 and 4, but I grew to like them more and more. Tracks 5 and 9 are average. "Holy Night Destiny" (tr8) is supposed to be a Christmas song inspired by Silent Night, and it is calm, unlike their other songs. Finally, "Into the Wind" (tr10) is one of the best songs I've ever heard. It is very cool because it reminds us of the hopes and dreams of our lives in a powerful way. It is triumphant and the techno is enjoyable, not overdone. It is a 14 minute track because there is a remix of "Discharge" afterwards. Overall, this is a magnificent album, I give it an A+ because Two-Mix is my favorite music artist and I have been waiting forever for this album. It has been my most important music purchase in the last year. Even if you don't know any Japanese I would recommend "0G" because it is upbeat, balanced, unique techno pop."
